Winter is well and truly all around us now and driving is not always a pleasant experience. We have some very heavy rain recently and so we have to deal with a lot of surface water on our roads. If at all possible, driving through water on the road should be avoided, by treating it as a hazard and indicating to move around it. However if this is not an option we should slow down and drive very slowly through the puddle. Leaves are an added danger on the roads at this time of year. If there are leaves on the road especially wet ones our tyres have far less road holding so again we should slow down and take extra care. Remember arrive alive.
On a lighter note, CHRISTMAS IS ONLY 34 DAYS away, so now is the perfect time to think about buying someone you love a voucher for driving lessons. Vouchers are available for any amount of lessons. So if you have a son, daughter, brother, sister aunt, uncle or grandchild who would love to be driving why not give them the gift that lasts a lifetime this Christmas.
